Mercy Pack : Territory

As Kole dismissed her touch, Kipxin moved away from him. She didn't want to stress out about the hostility of Kole, and the need for her own comfort that he was denying. He'd never turn her down before, so what's his deal? She doesn't hate him, and that action was supposed to show that - that she wanted him here, but he didn't seem to get the message. It hurt.

Kipxin adverted her focus and watched and listened to the white wolf as she hummed and did her craft. She observed closely as she delicately chewed and applied and layered each herb in an order she didn't understand. The music she hummed wasn't familiar, but it made her grin slightly; it was a soothing tune. As she focused on the actions being performed before her, she felt the rosemary kick into her system and she sighed, allowing a huge breath of air escape her lungs that seemed to have been held in for a long time - she felt relaxed now.

As the female finished, she could have sworn she saw Azreal's tail wag slightly; she couldn't be sure. The action was so abrupt and she only caught it from the corner of her eye. Was it possible that she could have healed him this quickly?

As she thought this, the female looked at her. She was finished and Kipxin felt both relieved and upset. She could have watched the female do her work all day and the wonder and thirst for answers and knowledge about this craft was never quenched because of the abrupt finish. She was happy now that the injury may be reversed and there was a possibility that Azreal could live. Another sigh of relief escaped Kipxin. The rush was over and now whatever happens happens - they've done all they could.

"Do you have a healer I can talk to?"

Kipxin jumped a little as her voice startled her from her thought process.

"Umm, actually no. We don't have a healer yet in this territory which is why we appreciate what you've done for us so much! Actually, I don't think I ever got your name..."

Kipxin held her head up high and tried to make herself look like an authority figure. She wanted the she-wolf to know she was the one in charge here and that here gratitude was something that should be honored and respected. At the same time, she didn't want to go all dominant over her; she wanted this wolf to feel comfortable and receive her own respect for saving her friend. Kipxin, in a way, felt as if this pack needed this wolf. She wasn't sure how to ask, but she wanted her. She seemed sweet and she could be very important to the health and safety of the future.

Aww, that's so cute!

She pulled away from his kiss and they opened their eyes, Tonto felt like they had been together for a lifetime. When she kissed back and gave him essentially her whole world, it blew away the trouble that had lingered over him.
Troubles he slung over his shoulder and carried like a bag of rocks, his hooded eyes looked into hers.
The longer he gazed into them Tonto saw an island of perfection, a place completely void from any sadness, pain and hunger.
It was what he had been searching for his whole life but didn't know it...until now...now he knew what it was like to be a man.
His front legs wrapped around Lyynn snug and he pulled her close, close enough to breath her exhaled air.
When her touch collided with his it created a world neigh a place they could both be and share. Tonto gave her a nuzzle, in between them the curvature of their chests and outline of their necks shaped a heart.

A purr vibrated his throat as he just lay there chasing the kaleidoscope in her eyes "Lyynn, all the words fall short but if I could say one thing it'd be...if I could ask one thing it would be to stop time, halt the moon, sun and stars to make you beauty everlasting." Tonto beamed "Just so I could get lost in your glowing eyes and never come out."

On the surface he looked calm with sleepy eyes but below there was fireworks exploding, his heart felt oozy and warm.

While Tonto spoke his words came from his mouth sounding as soft as velvet, every sound sent her heart on a roller coaster ride. Her mind was reeling, she wanted nothing more than to be with him.
As the weather slowly transformed from a world of freight into something beautiful, her legs became restless.

"Tonto, how 'bout we go on an adventure? My legs need to stretch."
And with that she jumped up and ran from their space, brushing his face with her tail on her way out.
She looked back at him in the opening to the world and motioned to him with her head.
"I promise it'll be fun, if you can keep up."

She dashed into the trees and through green shrubbery, their branches combing through her thick fur.
She took in a deep breath of the thick air, and felt the soft ground beneath her paws. She didn't know where she was going but it didn't matter as long as he was there with her. Lyynn glanced back flashing him a smile as she continued to run through the dew filled forest. For the first time sense she could remember she was filled with happiness.

He was begging to doubt his resolve, for earlier that same day why he, he didn't want to give into feelings...but these were no ordinary emotions.
The desperado inside him, that loner ranger constantly looking for another found her at last. You see it was strange for he wasn't use to feeling company like this as if a little of her was inside him too.
Tonto rose to his feet and took off after her, she was quite fast and took the better part of effort to keep up.
His tongue rolled out of his mouth and blew sideways as he jumped and ran over the fallen trees, her laughter bounced off the trees.
It was becoming hard to run since he too was laughing, he wondered if maybe she knew where she was going but he could careless, he just wanted to see her and that bright smile that melted his insides.

Tonto could see just verily the tip of her tail as it flickered playfully "You're fast, I'm still gonna get you though." he smiled coming down the hill dodging and weaving through the trees.

Her slender yellow profile down in the valley below, he slid down a fallen tree over the river "Ahoo!"

Tonto landed nimbly on the other side chasing his girl, his lungs were burning now and struggled to keep up with his muscles.
For a moment he saw his reflection in the river and hoped it was something attractive to her, he had always been conscious of other's opinions. Why if he could just be something everyone liked than boy he would.
He knew that from now on he'd resume his daily runs and exercises to build up for her...into tip top shape.

Lyynn ran untill her lungs felt like they were on fire. She slowed her pace and flopped down onto the ground, landing in the long plush grass of a meadow. She looked all around her admiring all of the different flowers, each having their on color, shape and smell. She loved the way the sun shone down on this spot, making every color bright and enhanced.
She rolled to her side breathing heavily and watched Tonto as he shot through the trees in after her, he looked beautiful. They way the wind had blown his hair imperfectly, sticking out in random spots made him that more perfect to her. He made all of her past disappear, all the deep feelings of saddness and abandonment vanished no longer able to eat away at her.
She wondered what he had been through then, she remembered what she saw in his eyes earlier though she didn't know exactly what "it" was. She hoped that she had the same effect on him as he did on her, she didn't want him to feel anything remotely close to sadness. She promised herself right then seeing him and his messy fur, that she wouldn't let him feel anything other than joy and happiness.

She was absolutely stunning as Lyynn basked in the sunlight, it shone down on her making the fur all along Lyynn's back glow.
She had a spirited beauty locked inside her, one that illuminated an inside light. For he knew the surface was half the battle but underneath that's were her loveliness bounded.
Tonto wanted nothing more but to please her all his days, capture that spirit she had and make her his own.
And as she plopped down on the bed of flowers and blades of grass he lunged over a brook landing on the other side.
'Where'd you go?' He scanned the valley but didn't see his beau, even holding in a breath to listen for her laugh.
When none came Tonto sat down his droopy ear perked up and he saw her tail, he came to her with a happy giggle.

"Hehe gotcha!" The red wolf playfully hopped over her and looking down at all the prettiness emanating from Lyynn's smile licked her cheek.

The emotions of yesteryear gone with the wind that carried over them, she healed over the scares and filled in the pot holes on his road.
Lyynn could play his feelings like an instrument, strummed Tonto's strings and cleared all the cobwebs out.
He wanted her to play him, play the emotions of a child and send him back in life to a time when worry was but a thing easily forgotten.

Kole gazed back up slowly as Kipxin moved away from him. He felt a pang in his heart and regretted his actions. He had made such a mess. A slight movement caught Kole's eye causing him to turn his head towards the red wolf who was still sprawled out on the ground. He could swear that he had just seen Azreal’s tail wag slightly. The new wolf who was healing him seemed to know what she was doing. This pack needed a wolf like that. Not one that would just cause drama and havoc on the pack. With one last forlorn look at Kipxin, Kole silently walked away into the woods, hoping to go unnoticed and knowing that the red wolf was in good paws. He needed time to think about all that had happened. It had all started with a his howl. A howl that Kipxin returned to him. If he had not woken up during the night none of this would've happened. Kole scowled as he made his way through the woods.

A sudden noise caught his attention, causing his guard hairs to rise on his back. He crouched low to the ground to peer through the foliage at whoever had made their way into this territory. Two wolves played in the wildflowers and grass that extended out past the line of foliage that Kole kept himself hidden within. The only thing that could give him away was his eyes as they peered at the male and female who he hadn’t seen before. They seemed to be quite distracted with each other, and didn’t look to be any cause for worry. Slowly and hesitantly, Kole stepped forwards revealing his dark coat.

“Hello.” He said, trying to add a tinge of friendliness in his voice despite how the recent happenings were weighing on his mind.

Just as she captured him, when he was sucked into her pretty eyes something disrupted the peace, a slight tang from the real world that dragged him back to it.
His eyes contracted as a scent southern born in the heavy woods above them guarded by spruce trees crashed into his nostrils.
It was an odor as wild as the west Alaskan winds Tonto grew up with, a pungent smell of pine and sap so heavy he was surprised the wind could carry it.
Two green eyes, haunting orbs that hovered in the dark until he came into the light...his coat was darker than night and shone with a purplish gleam like the underside of a raven's wing.

Hello

Tonto could tell even at this distance he was a rather large wolf, probably of the grey species. Even now he figured the odds if they were to fight, because a smart wolf died hundreds of times in his mind so he could think ahead-calculate his chances.
He was definitely smaller than the onyx wolf but Tonto had intercepted grey wolves in his old pack's territory before and fought with them.
Perhaps this wolf meant no harm? Maybe it was his own mind projecting the fear of the unknown...no matter what preparations Tonto took he couldn't once know exactly what his intentions were.

"G'day." Tonto replied trying to dissuade the internal warning system blaring inside him.

Tonto had this magnetic attraction about him, every ounce of Lyynn's attention was forced to be used on him. Every time they touched she felt as if bottle rockets whistled their way through her heart, she knew that this was how life was supposed to be lived. Just laying in that beautiful meadow with him drained any bad from her bones, he was all of the good in her life. As she gazed at his perfection she couldnt recall a single time in her life she had felt as happy, it was as if a guardian angel had blessed her with her wildest dreams. she had become so wrapped in her fantasy world with only him she had forgotten that anyone else could even exist.
So has she saw Tonto look off into the forest surrounding the meadow she was slightly confused, and reality unforgivenly slammed into her mind at a thousand miles an hour.

"Hello."

As she heard the foreign voice her mind filled with so many thoughts all at once it was impossible to comprehend a single one. And as she saw the large male approach she half his behind Tonto, her heart raced as anxiety found its way through her veins. Every bad thing her mind could think of played in her mind, a collection of nightmares and worst scenarios threatened to take everything she had just gotten away from her.

"G'day."

She burrowed herself into Tonto's comforting fur, the familiarity of his smell and voice calming her nerves enough for her to keep herself from imploding.

I'm Kole.. He hesitated before continuing. A member of Mercy pack. Kole wasn't even sure he was speaking the truth with these words. Was he really a part of the pack? He couldn't be sure with everything that had happened, but he thought it best to play the role that would help keep the pack safe.

Kole made sure to keep a watchful eye on the two wolves, not wanting to take any chances. He tried to keep his suspicions down. These could be potential members to help the growth and stability of the pack. It wouldn't be very good if Kole's defensive thoughts scared them off. The dark wolf fought to keep the fur on his neck and back down. He forced a slight wag in his tale. He wanted to appear friendly to these newcomers,  but he couldn't help the darkness that remained in his green eyes.

Lyynn studied the large wolf, his deeply darkened fur made his bright green eyes stand out out in comparison. She was quiet, she could see the distraction that lingered right beneath the surface of his eyes. His movements didn't seem threatening almost friendly, she hesitated a little while longer before finally speaking.

"I'm Lyynn." she looked down at the ground before continuing.
"I didn't mean to trespass or, or anything...I mean umm...I'm sorry."

She quickly glanced up at Kole, then moved closer to Tonto. She didn't know why but all of a sudden she felt defensive towards Tonto, she didn't want this other wolf to destroy her perfect world. Of course she had no idea how to actually defend herself let alone someone else, but she knew if it came down to it she would try. She looked again at Kole, searching for any traces of hostility. Lyynn didn't know exactly what she should be looking for, but Kole didn't seem threatening to her.

"I'm Lyynn. I didn't mean to trespass or, or anything...I mean umm...I'm sorry."
Kole nodded hearing her statement. She didn't seem to be acting hostile at all, rather she looked nervous as she huddled closer to the male wolf who's silvery fur caught the sunlight. Kole shifted his gaze to this wolf now, noticing that he had been eyeing him up with interest.  Perhaps this silver wolf was looking him over in preparation for a fight. The thought of this consumed Kole and the will too appear so friendly was soon diminished. The fur on his neck, shoulders and down his back slowly stood up on end as he eyed this male intently. He wished not to fight again, but if it came down to it, Kole would defend himself. The thought of the alpha entered his mind, and he remembered the stress he had caused her. A small frown appeared on his face and Kole fought against the thoughts of this new silver wolf being an aggressor. The fur that had raised just seconds earlier quivered as he forced his tail to wag again slowly.

Tonto stood silent and unresponsive but inside a fire of emotion and memory devoured him. How he hated Grey males. It was a grey male that killed his father, it was a grey male who stalked his family's territory making them starve in winter and it was the grey male which had become the embodiment of all his fury. A confused rage that drew him mad wondering 'why?' someone would do that? His claws dug into the earthy soil, back stiffened and brows tensed. You couldn't hide hatred, no skin or fur could contain it. Not one like this. An anger developed by time and amplified by past scars. Tonto snorted and slightly tilted his head down eyes trained on Kole.

He passed over in between Lyynn and Kole, if this wolf thought he could hurt her there would be nothing to border a lifetime of tension and ire.

Lyynn could feel the heavy weight of anger and hatred slowly radiate from Tonto as he shifted himself in between her and the other wolf. Her stomach felt as if it was filled with butterflies, and her legs started to quiver. She stepped right next to Tonto and nuzzled into his neck trying to calm him, she hadn't seen this part of him before and was terrified of what lay beneath it. She demanded her heart to stay calm and steady for the both of them, and thought only of all the good that had happened in the past day.
She glanced at Kole and hoped he didn't notice the obvious, she smiled at him trying to mask Tonto's rage. She leaned in close to him and whispered into his ear, her voice as quiet as she could possibly make it.
"It's going to be okay, don't you worry now. He doesn't seem to mean any harm."
She made her voice sound as soothing as she could, and prayed it was enough.

Kole stared into the Male's eyes. The expression deriving from him reeked of hatred. Kole had done nothing to this wolf yet he was showing aggression in his features. Thinking over it He realized his body was showing the same signals. The fur on his back continued to quiver and his ear twitched. He didn't have control over his primordial functions. The female still hadn't shown any intentions of attack, but this silver wolf was acting quite a lot differently. Using all the force in his body to keep his true feelings subdued, Kole attempted a small smile towards the female. Maybe if he showed her more friendliness the male would realize that Kole wasn't a threat. He was probably just trying to protect this female. In a way The dark wolf was trying to do the same for the pack that he now felt a connection to.

"It's nice to meet you Lyynn. You don't seem like the type to be of any harm to this pack." Kole didn't mean to use emphasis as he spoke the word you, but it radiated from his subconscious thought. He glanced back at the male with an inquisitive look. Would his words calm this male or would Kole be facing yet another fight today.

In the ashes and rubble of a life struggle rose a Phoenix. An emotion that turned everything into bad luck and jinxed anyone close to him. He was a tough, honest wolf with backbone and a temper to match. He lost himself too many times during thought like this, Tonto was just one wolf a young one trying to provide for his widowed mother and fatherless brothers when other, older, bigger males made life even more difficult.
As he passed in between the wolves Tonto caught a smile just one slight grin Kole gave Lyynn, and that was all it took.

He could feel Lyynn caressing him in an effort to nullify his anger to put water on a blazing fire but it was no use, Tonto turned around with bared teeth and hissed between clinched canines "Funny, I didn't pick up anyone's scent here. Or are you just like all the other males claiming whatever territory suits them?"

Tonto scooted Lyynn back in a safe distance so she wouldn't be hurt if this stranger decided to attacked. Out from a fury flung rage something else...another smell hit Tonto's nose and he rolled his tongue over his own nose to clear it but the aura persisted.
That wasn't important now, it was dealing with this menacing individual who threatened his entire life-Lyynn.
He wouldn't let Kole look or let alone touch her not without a fight, a spar with everything he had...only what would triumph, experience or strength?

Licking the sweet, red stains from his muzzle, Demence started to reminisce of his fresh kill. He played it back in his mind, enjoying it for a second time; the way his claws sunk into the preys behind, the way he snarled as his ripped open the pelt and devoured the meat from the bone. Ah yes, it was an awesome kill and it certainly filled an empty spot in his growing stomach.

Demence rose his backside in the air, and lowered his chest and head to the ground. He stayed like this for several seconds, as his muscles stretched after tightening up from laying down. He stood up fully and began to plod along through the woodland.

His mouth began to become awfully dry as he wandered about. He swallowed the remaining saliva and regretted it the moment it left his mouth. He had to find some water soon. Luckily for him, he had stumbled across some soft earth, meaning only one thing - a water source was nearby. He picked up the pace, his ears flat against his skull allowing for greater speed. His paws dug up the earth as he raced to find the source of nutrition, ignoring the odd scent as he did.

Kole instantly lowered his ears at the wolf's tone. He frowned at his question. He lowered his stance slightly to better plant himself to the ground in case of attack. A hint of a growl rose in Kole's voice as he retorted. "Well there must be something wrong with your nose." Kole's green eyes flashed dark and he focused on the aggressive male. He tried his hardest to stay calm, but his fur kept quivering and his glare showed his thoughts towards this silver male exactly. He would not strike first, only defend himself. This day just kept getting worse and worse.

Lyynn's eyes opened wide and she took a timid step closer to Tonto again, she inhaled deeply, she hadn't even noticed she was holding her breath. Her heart began to beat harder and faster in her chest, it felt as if it were going to shatter into a million pieces. She let a high pitched whimper escape her lungs, her tail twitched side to side nervously as she crept even closer to him. She gently nudged the side of his neck with her nose desperately trying to avoid the inevitable. She whimpered again begging and pleading for him to stop.

"Well there must be something wrong with your nose."

As the male's words left his throat her heart stopped, for a complete moment it stopped. She could hear the edge in his voice, and her mind again flooded with images she never wanted to see. The gears in her mind started turning as she thought any way to stop the horror that was about to play out, like a switch an idea burned bright in her head. She stood tall from her hunched position and stroud over right in between them, with a smile plastered on her face she sat down blocking their path a sight of one another.

"Oh you know, the pollen around here is pretty strong. I'm sure it was just the flowers."
A laugh came from her chest as she looked calmly at Kole.
"By the way, do you happen to know where we are? You see I was acting quite childishly and seem to have gotten us lost."

She turned and faced Tonto, her eyes shifted and they begged him to just play along so they could be together and happy again. Her golden-honey brown eyes pleaded with him to take a deep breath and collect himself before he made any rash decisions. She gave everything she had into this one look, praying it would work just long enough for her to fix things.

She turned back to Kole flashing her fake but hopefully persuasive smile, trying to send anything but threatening signals.

The words went in and out of Tonto's ears garnering a late response, since he did not expect such a come back.

He stopped grit his teeth and stepped forward glowering at the wolf, Tonto sucked in "Maybe there's not enough testosterone in your pee you girl..."

Barely left his lips before Lyynn came and sat in front of him, breaking the concentration he had on Kole.
Immediately she became a barrier, a stone wall that paused the gradual conduction of anger between them. Tonto couldn't be mad, how could he...when Lyynn looked at him with those eyes.
It made him think about his words and how this all could be avoided...he didn't want to hurt anyone and most certainly not Lyynn.
She was a voice of reason he could hear no matter if Tonto turned a deaf ear or not...the anger still boiled the blood circulating in him but now there was her.
The wonderful Venus standing before him and all he could do was sit there and soak in her light beauty like a sponge.
His teeth hadn't released his tongue but kept it immobilized for the time being, it was for the best since nothing smart was coming from his mouth.

Kipxin pricked up her ears. She stared at Azreal, trying to figure out what was happening to him and if he was getting better, but she heard a familiar sound. She knew Kole had slipped away, but this sound was not too distant from where she was standing. He had snarled at a wolf, who she was now able to hear, and she could practically smell the testosterone.

Sniffing the air, she wondered how she could have missed it. Did the rosemary throw off her senses? They were so close, she should have noticed moments ago that there were wolves in her territory that was her duty to protect. Giving one final glance at Azreal, she ran off in the direction of the fight. She stayed low and stepped cautiously, allowing her gradient fur to blend in with the foliage. She listened.

Kole was angry, and it seemed the more polite he was to the female standing before him, the more angry the male stranger became.

"Funny, I didn't pick up anyone's scent here. Or are you just like all the other males claiming whatever territory suits them?" The stranger dared to say to Kole. Kipxin wanted to lash out right then, but she remained quiet.

"Well there must be something wrong with your nose." Kipxin grinned at this, and remained silent.

"Maybe there's not enough testosterone in your pee you girl..." Kipxin almost let out a growl. He was crossing too many lines, including her own territory, and it was getting out of control. The female stepped in front of him, trying to calm the male and reassure Kole that they meant no harm. But these two have crossed too many lines. Kipxin needed to step in.

She emerged from the trees in a single leap, her fur standing on end, and her teeth bared. She walked beside Kole, but kept a distance between them. She stepped forward.

"No more excuses. This is my territory and you are trespassing and threatening my family. I marked this line just last night, so yes. You probably don't smell testosterone. It's estrogen. If you have a problem with females running a pack, you'll have to answer to me. The alphess. I will not tolerate this, so I suggest you leave now before I force you."

Kipxin eyed the two of them. She was already in a bad mood and they made it worse. The rosemary had been burned out of her system by the white-hot fury that was being pushed through her veins. She wasn't going to deal with this. Especially with Azreal not far beyond them in such a terrible condition. She was confident Kole would fight with her, and the two of them together to scatter a pack of wolves, let alone these two mangy ones standing before her. She was simply done.

Kole listened and the watched the male before his eyes, expecting a quick retort, but The silver coated wolf seemed to be thrown off slightly by his words. Just as this thought flashed across Kole's mind the male responded with hostility.

"Maybe there's not enough testosterone in your pee you girl..."

Kole was surprised by this, even thrown off slightly as the silver wolf was. He barely noticed the female who accompanied him step between them as he mulled the words over in his mind. The white female started talking causing Kole to let go of the broken view he had of the male, his path being mostly obstructed by the female.

Before Kole had a chance to attempt to put a smile back on his lips and answer her question, His eyes and ears were drawn to the alpha that jumped from the foliage behind him. All of the effort that Kole had put into trying to keep his anger subdued seemed to have served no purpose when he saw the expression that Kipxin held. Her bared teeth and aggressive stance practically dripped with anger. The words that she spoke stung like pine needles. Kole's attention was pulled away from the other two wolves almost completely. He hadn't seen her like this before, but it definitely showed why she was the alpha around here. By the time she was done, He could almost see the steam coming out her nostrils. With slight hesitation, He approached her while glancing at the other two. He spoke in a low tone trying to calm her slightly.

"The female means no harm.. And the male.." Kole paused for a moment thinking over his words. "The male is just trying to protect her. I didn't mean to intimidate them." Kole glanced back at the other two with a lighter expression than that of the alpha.

Kipxin stared the two wolves down, not paying any attention to Kole who had inched closer to where she precariously stood. His voice surprised her and her spine became a pipe of cold running water - ripples of nerves causing a wave of fur standing on end. She jumped facing him and bared her teeth towards him, composing herself as he spoke.

"The female means no harm.. And the male..the male is just trying to protect her. I didn't mean to intimidate them."

Kipxin rolled her eyes. Seriously? Giving Kole and the other two strangers a cold look, Kipxin turned and trotted away back towards Azreal. She didn't care what they thought of her, she knew who she was, and the ones she cared about her knew who she was. She was protecting her family, and instances like this where her family gets on the defensive and sets her into alpha-mode for no reason really makes her tick. She scowled her entire yet short journey back to where Azreal was still laying and sat. She secretly hoped Kole sorted things out and reasoned her actions. She loved new pack members, but she hated this drama. Mates are the high-maintenance ones...

Kipxin's thoughts trailed away as she thought of young love and the few mates she'd ever encountered in her life. The young ones were always the loveliest ones, the ones she most often enjoyed watching because of the rawness and pureness of its content. It encompassed her, the thought of ever having a mate. Would it ever be that beautiful?

She stared up at the clouds above, the sky painted in a thousand different shades of pink and orange as the sun begins to set.

Just when Lyynn had thought she had everything in her control again the female leapt from the forest her fur bristling with aggression. Her smile wavered as the female's sharp words flew from her throat, and as she disappeared back into the forest Lyynn sat there for a moment trying to figure out what had just happened. She blinked a few times trying to gather her derailed thoughts back on track, she glanced at Tonto as her insides panicked. A siren blared in her head and pulsed through her bones, she looked back over at Kole her eyes wide with paranoia.

"I...I, uhh."
All of her confidence had been sucked from her veins, her head was spinning too fast and she couldn't speak any of the words that slid through her mind.
"We, we didn't mean...to, to uhh."
Her paw started to scratch at the mossy earth, and she shifted back closer to Tonto.
Though Kole didn't seem even close to as threatening as the female had just been, but she was still on edge. She simply didn't know what to do and looked at Kole in exasperation.

Kole took a step backwards seeing the cold look that Kip gave him. And just as quickly as she appeared, she was gone again. He gazed down at the ground with dark look. He knew that Kipxin was just trying to protect the pack, but he just wished she could of acknowledged him. Then again, he hasn't done much good for this pack either. The cold look that the alpha had givin him replayed in his mind causing him to shut his eyes for a moment trying to block it out. His attention had been drawn away from the other two since Kipxin had made her appearance, but now he wheeled around when the female spoke.

"We, we didn't mean...to, to uhh."

Kole smiled weakly at the white wolf. With a small sigh he gazed back to where the alpha had disappeared through the trees.

"I know. She has been through a lot today... So have I."
