| Tonto back up a little and dropped his tail between his legs, he felt a bit sad to make her bounce like she did. And by the way she curled up into a smaller position made her all the more innocent and he leaned back sitting on his hind legs licking his nose.
"I'm sorry. You can never be to careful in unfamiliar turf. In fact I'm lost myself." His tongue dampened his nostrils and cleared the scent.
When he sat and then laid down putting his snout between his front legs the scent was less prominent because the heat of the sun made it rise a foot above the surface of the ground.
"I'm not going to hurt you...my name is Tonto. May I ask yours?" Tonto's ears flinched to sonar the area for any more surprises.

| Lyynn watched the wolf's every movement carefully searching for anything alarming, she followed every movement and untenced as the wolf tucked his tail.
"I'm sorry. You can never be to careful in unfamiliar turf. In fact I'm lost myself."
She cocked her head to the side as this wolf lowered his nose towards the ground. She set herself down onto the damp earth and sat up a little taller sencing no immediate thret. Her lips curved up a little, but she fought back a smile so she wouldn't seem childishly foolish.
"I'm not going to hurt you...my name is Tonto. May I ask yours?"
"There's nothing to apologize for" Lyynn carefully thought about her words, she had a tendency to ramble and didn't want to scare off one of the only wolves she had socialised with in the past year. "My name is Lyynn, it's great to meet you Tonto. I didn't mean to creep on you I just don't know where I am and I was worried you might be aggressive, and I'm so glad you're not, you seem lovely I..."
She quickly cut herself off and felt the heat raise in her cheeks, she was rambling again. She glanced down at her paws and started nervously scratching at the soft dirt.
"I'm sorry, I don't mean to ramble." Lyynn took a quick look up at the wolf and tried to calm the blush from her cheeks.

| Tonto felt her eyes sort him over as he did her, and he could feel his body tingle from limb to limb every where her pupils fell. A butterfly landed on his nose and just was...it's wings clouded over his vision, he shook his muzzle enough to shoo the critter.
"My name is Lyynn, it's great to meet you Tonto.
His eyes returned to the curious female that laid in front of him no more than ten paces away, "Lyynn? That's a pretty name."
He rolled over on his side and caught the butterfly still fluttering about, his playfulness was an urge he couldn't fight. So he turned on his back and pawed at the butterfly as it landed on him and then took off.
I didn't mean to creep on you I just don't know where I am and I was worried you might be aggressive, and I'm so glad you're not, you seem lovely I...
Tonto stopped and looked up at Lyynn upside down because his head was resting on the dirt. His limbs dropped to one side and he rolled over, the butterfly perched comfortably on his left ear.
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ramble.
He got up and shaking the dirt off him went over and sat beside her with a smile "It's okay, I don't mind. I like it when you talk, keeps me from doing it." Tonto chuckled.
The wolf sort of enjoyed watching her blush, it was funny and rather cute to see. He could sense a change in the weather by how his joints ached, it was getting late. Today was sure a busy day, he met three new wolves all females...and all kind. Still he hadn't quite resolved the issue of last night...he need shelter from the cold winds.

| While Lyyn was talking she couldn't help but let out a soft laugh as she watched the playful wolf and the butterfly. A smile took over her face as she watched Tonto roll to his back and paw at the beautiful creature. She watched as it danced away from him, she gazed after the butterfly and wondered what it felt like to fly. She imagined the wind flowing as the water did in a stream all through out each strand of her golden fur. And being able to touch one of those precious cotten clouds that float taunting her high in the sky, just waiting for her to rest her head upon its soft fluffs. Lyynn then blinked rapidly to come back to the world of reality as Tonto came to rest down beside her.
"It's okay, I don't mind. I like it when you talk, keeps me from doing it."
Her paw doug deeper into the fertile soil beneath her as Tonto flashed a smile. She looked up at him and studied his face as he spoke. She noticed the way his white as snow fur stood out from their flourishing bringt green surroundings, and how his cloudy grey flecked with a seemingly darker shade of grey markings by contrast, made his crystallized shining blue eyes stand out even more than they already did on their own. Lyynn took a moment and struggled for words as she tried to think what to say next. She hadn't talked to very many wolves like this one for a long time, maybe not ever. She spoke softly worried she might say something wrong ruining this moment. "Well I can't have all the attention on me now can I? Tell me a little about you, like what is your favorite type of weather? I love when the sky is the brightest blue and filled with white clouds that look like pictures" Lyynn looks up and smiles just at the thought "and the birds are filling all of the empty in the world with their music." Lyynn takes in a deep breath filling her lungs with the summer air, and a cloud of pollen in with it. Her head springs back a little as a high pitched sneaze finds its way from her nose.

| Witt: Witt quickly went to work sorting out the herbs. She hummed her favorite song so as to work with the best intentions. She soon had three distinct piles. She had grabbed plenty of herbs, definitely enough to heal Azreal; and then enough for this female wolf to heal the next wolf if they ever get in trouble again. Witt blew a soft wisp of air onto the affected areas Azreal was wounded. She inhaled and blew again. This was an old ritual of a blessing to another wolf. It sends a channel of energy from one wolf to the next, giving good energies. Witt saw Azreal shake slightly and she knew she needed to apply quickly. She bit down on the comfrey and grimaced with its bitter taste, she applied it without hesitation. She then patched on the arnica and cat's claw. She felt Azreal calming down and releasing all tension. She smiled softly and pasted the final marigolds to his wounds. She waited a few seconds, signing an old spiritual song the native healer taught her, hoping to phase Azreal soul slowly back into existence. She smiled as she saw his pupils begin to focus. Witt sat down and smiled, turning back to see the female. Witt then wondered why she was so concerned about his male. He was a beautiful male. She wondered if this female had feelings for him? Witt tilted her head and decided it wasn’t any of her business. Witt was slowly fading from the healer concentration and was becoming herself. She could feel the damp sticky earth and was a little shocked at how bad the wolf had gotten. She looked up and smiled at little Kole wolf. He was cute for a pup. One day he'd be a real great wolf. She loved the smell that this new place radiated. It was full of rich and fulfilling essences. She loved the flower patch, and it was only a smidgen of the territory this wolf had. Witt then realized, with a territory comes a pack, with a pack comes a leader, with a leader comes a healer... Witt smiled at looked at Kip. "Do you have a healer I can talk to?" She blossomed and wagged her tail.

| Azreal: Azreal began to feel himself twitch. This was going to be how he died, and it wasnt even heroically. Azreal felt ashamed of himself. He sighed, letting go of that one last breath. He tried to look up, realizing someone's shadow was over him, but he couldnt raise his head. He figured it was either Kole, dominating him, a bear, or a coyote picking the best way to eat him. Azreal felt helpless. His eyes began to cloud over and he felt he was being spun around in very fast circles. Azreal tried to whine or yelp, but no sound would come from him. Before he knew it, he faded out and was dead, or so he thought. A soft murmer was coming from a wolf. It was rather annoying because Azreal was trying to die, and this wolf was 'disturbing the dead.' It began to blow on him. This sent chills down his body and energized him enough to shake. Azreal felt hope seeping into his dark place. She began to place things on him, which there again was aggrivating him. Soon after she placed them, a hot sensation poured in over his wound. It felt marvelous. He hoped she'd do it again. This time she placed something cool on his wound. It didnt feel as good as the hot, but it still numbed his pain. She then began to sing. This song Azreal actually liked. He opened his eyes to see who this was. He didnt recognize her, but Kip mustve sent for her. Azreal smiled when he saw her. She looked similar to his sister Addie. Azreal wagged his tail wanting to play but he didnt have enough strength to get up just yet. | |

| Tell me a little about you, what's your favorite weather? I love when the sky is the brightest blue and filled with white clouds that look like pictures...and the birds are filling the empty in the world with their music.
A fluster of summer breeze combed through his fur and he sucked in a deep breath letting his chest expand to the fullest extent. His pupils contracted and glazed a bit, past Lyynn in a thousand yard gaze as if he could see right through the trees. In a distant memory he drifted, back to a time with his family when winter was upon them and how the snow covered the grounds in a powdery resin that stuck to his paws. The cool sensations when a slow flake melted over his hot nose sending chills down his back, and in the morning the snow glistened with a silvery magnificence. Then there were the times he sat over Polmeroy lake fishing in the long hours of the evening when time dragged by and life itself seemed to stand still. Those million sparkles on the water like a diamond hill as the fish skipped across its surface and for a second he could've swore the lake never ended as it mirrored the sky.
But there was one time, one time the world and all it's beauty took his breath away...his mind returned to him and he looked back at Lyynn.
She sneezed and he giggled "Hmm, well that's a tough one. I love all types of weather but there's one time that stands out most...it was when a man started a forest fire in our woods. I remember coming over the ridge a day after the fire was put out. Embers of the great fire still glowed on the ground and off in the distance wood snapped from the heat. That was when I saw the moon for the first timeline that. You see the smoke was in the air for the winds hadn't yet taken it away. It gave the moon a dark rich crimson color. The trees were nothing more than burnt stumps as far as the eyes could see. I'll never forget that night...when the sky bled a red hue that engulfed my entire world." He looked over at Lyynn and rest his head on his paw.
"Now, I don't know about you but I don't howl often. But maybe once in a great while. When I saw that though it stirred my blood so bad that I howled a haunting tune that echoed through the canyon." Tonto laid over on his side, stretched out and yawned a yawn that curled his tongue.
He hoped she didn't mind him laying down, Tonto was tired and the warmth from the sun only magnified his sleepiness. The wolf faced her and playfully pawed at Lyynn a little before giving up.

| Kole tried his best not to think that Kip was sending him away purposely with this new wolf. He was willing to do anything that would help. She spoke and asked him questions, but Kole wasn't truly there. He just wandered slowly in a slight daze from all that was happening. He was sure to e kicked out of the pack. He hadn't even had a real chance to be part of it before he went ahead and got a wolf killed. Kole mentally cursed at himself. He was no good for anyone to have around. The best thing he ever did for anyone was whatever happened out on that strange expanse of rock with the lines. That bright light and loud screeching was what he deserved.
Before he even knew it they were back with the plants that they needed. The two females exchanged words before Witt went to work on Azreal who was now almost completely surrounded by a pool of his own blood. A sudden soft touch against his neck pulled Kole out of his thoughts momentarily. He realized Kip was nuzzling him. His heart rate increased, but the butterflies in his stomach now felt as though they had blades attached to their wings. Kole turned his head away and down, closing his eyes and trying not to respond to Kipxin's touch.

| Lyynn watched as Tonto gazed past her and into whatever he wanted to see. She could tell that he was lost within his own thoughts, replaying moments in his life as if he were still there, living in that point in time. And then as soon as he was gone, he came flooding back. His eyes connected to hers, and her whole body relaxed.
"...I'll never forget that night...when the sky bled a red hue that engulfed my entire world."
Lyynn just looked straight at this mysterious wolf, his words were soft and flowed through the space between them like poetry. She swore that she could see the towering flames smothering and eating every little plant like a starving bear while climbing further into the sky and spreading like wings across the land. The spiraling smoke drifing off high into the stars a whisper in the night, a warning to all that could see whike it enjoys its tiny amount time in the world before the wind drags it away towards the unknown. And the red glow that had consumed the night and taken over Tonto's world.
"Now, I don't know about you but I don't howl often. But maybe once in a great while. When I saw that though it stirred my blood so bad that I howled a haunting tune that echoed through the canyon."
She watched his every move as he lowered himself to the ground and rolled to his side, and she saw the tired that swam in his eyes pulling and temping him towards sleep. "I don't know if I howl often or not, sometimes I feel my emotions clawing and begging for me to let them out, I think they just feel trapped sometimes." Lyynn saw as the tired lured him in and wrapped around him tightly as he layed himself down. She smiled as he raised his paw and clawed the air towards her before the tired finally took control and commanded him to sleep. Then the tired spread from him and danced around her making her vison fuzzy, she lowered herself to the plush, grassy ground and watched Tonto untill the tired had taken her over as well, ordering her to rest her eyes, just for a moment or two.

| He took a cat nap and dreamed...dreamed of those times when the world took his breath away. His mind was a ship steered by the winds of imagination, he even dreamed of Lyynn, Witt and Sonny. Now he thought all he could and when he couldn't think no more of his mind played off the emotions inside him. Tonto whined a little and his paws kicked gently, he found himself running...running as hard as he could, not the world caved in all around him. The trees bent over him and snapped as he passed by, the sunshine smothered out by darkness and voices bounced around him.
They were unnoticed at first but gained his attention "Looks like he's infected too." there was clattering of what sounded alien to him...like small rocks rolling around on something hard and loud "Yeah fella, huh?"
Something scratched his flank, it was warm and soft. There was this light coming down on him but it wasn't the sun because it was dark in corners. The smells were incredible and also painful, strong pungent odors that clouded his smell and made his eyes water.
"Good thing we caught you buddy. This should help you." Now there was a sharp line that glimmered for an instant as yet another voice handed it over to the first.
Tonto's eyes opened and his breathing quickened a little, he looked around and saw Lyynn beside him. Should he tell her? What would she think of him? In all the times he had been alone he never once was grateful for company but now he was. It frightened him quite a lot, that dream...but was it dream or a memory locked away deep inside? He wasn't sure but prayerfully hoped it was just a dream.
He looked and Lyynn, she was still as the surrounding objects. Maybe she hadn't noticed him wake up...he cast a look around frightfully. It was all too real and beyond comprehension, once he found that no one was around except a grasshopper that chirped as it jump in the meadow nearby he sighed. Tonto carefully crawled closer to Lyynn and stopped for he thought her eyes moved slightly. He shifted his weight so his body faced the opposite direction of Lyynn, Tonto scooted a little closer and looking around once again cuddled close with Lyynn.
How childish he felt to do this but...that dream, than nightmare. Tonto wrapped his tail around himself and shivered, he was afraid to go back to sleep. It was a comfort to have someone close especially when he was this scared...more scared than he'd ever been. He missed his family and wondered how they were doing. What he wouldn't give to be near someone he knew. The wolf thought of Witt and how she like Lyynn had a presence that relaxed him. He missed Witt and remembered the first day they met. Tonto pushed gently a little more into Lyynn to make sure she was there, he did it in such a manner not to make a sound or jar her. His eyes became tired again and he fell asleep hoping Lyynn wasn't awake to see this, it made him feel helpless...maybe he would wake before her and be able to move away before she noticed anything.

| As Lyynn slept she was taken back to a time when she had a family and a place she could call home. A place where her father stood proud and tall, a wolf others feared and looked up to, someone important. A time when her mother wasn't just a ball of sarrow and dred, a time when she shone brighter than any star that lit up the night sky, when she would tell stories of secret faries that sprinkled our eyes with dust when we were tired. In this time the sun would shine bright and the birds would sing songs of love and joy. The rivers would flow with grace and beauty sharing its life with all those surrounding it, and the flowers would blossom in the brightest colors, colors that even a blind wolf could see. And at this place, and in this time, she wasn't alone.
During her dreaming Lyynn thought she had heard a small noise, her common sense begged her to open her eyes. But her mind commanded her to stay oblivious, she didn't want to be in the real world in this moment. And as these thoughts were subconsciously tredding in her mind she thought of Tonto, about how kind he was, how he was a bit strange. But strange in the way that you wouldn't want them to change. In her mind she knew that Tonto could not exist, her mind told her that he was a lie and that she had been dreaming this whole time. She told herself he was real, he had to be real.
Lyynn peeked one eye open, ever so slightly afraid of what she might see. At first she thought he was gone, her mind played a small victory tune called I told you so. But as the sadness started to creep into her heart, she felt the pressence of another. She took a sideways glance only to find that he was there. This wolf was nkt just a fragment of her imagination, he was real. He was breathing and living and dreaming. She studied the wolf as she had done before, looking at every detail. Every small line that was pressed into his black nose, the thin almost invisible whiskers that sprung from his snout, she traced the line of his markings with her eyes. Around and around his face untill she was sure that the pattern would be forever carved into her memory. And she marveled at the beauty that nature had created.

| Sound asleep and dreaming again but they were blissful thoughts. Now he found himself near the old train station he use to scope all the time for fun. It was off the edge of town and his pack's territory, days went by and he watched people come and go. Some arriving and other departing, it was strange how much if effected everyone. People were sad and at times crying when friends and family left, others were so happy when someone visited. He never understood the machinations of the humans species...Tonto often wondered why they had to go when it was so hard to. He'd been apart from his family for three long weeks and it bothered him. So why did they leave theirs?
Most of his dreams were never this vivid but lately dreaming had in effect mirrored the emotions of his conscious. He felt lonely and tired from moving around so much, Tonto was just glad to see other wolves. And ones who were welcoming but oddly enough they too seemed lost...maybe he could round them into a pack and make a new family. He smiled but no matter how many families he could have...none could replace the original. The red wolf unconsciously pushed into Lyynn purring a little as if he was a cat but neigh. Her fur was soft and smelled sweet, it felt nice to feel her plush fur scrub his. The mist surrounded him like it did them days watching the train station, and out of the corner of his eyes in a rock pile near the train tracks he remembered Vixy. The fox who he had played with as a pup and grew to love, of course he'd never told her since well it just wouldn't work he was a wolf and she a fox. So he resorted to calling it a crush, Tonto loved foxes they were very beautiful creatures with auburn fur and long tails.
Sometimes he sneak out at night just to go see her, they'd laugh and play like old times. After the hunters came though her parents never let her out because they were scared of her being shot, even his parents moved deeper into the woods to get away from an expanding town. But about a year after they moved he saw her sitting on the stump of a tree just looking out over the town, she was so beautiful and all grown up. He saw her and at first she didn't recognize him and threatened to run away but she remembered his voice, so when he spoke she knew without a doubt it was him. Tonto loved that day more than any others, she said he changed so much and that he was a handsome wolf. Vixey said he filled out nicely, he blushed so much his fur was probably red as a tomato. They separated after a whole afternoon spent together just walking around and talking about what happened during the time they were apart. Once again many moons passed before he saw her again and that was only seven weeks ago just before the landslide.
They confessed feeling for each other and just before he left Tonto gave her an affectionate nuzzle, he'll never forget when he looked over his shoulder her face. It was sad and a little confused by how he nuzzled her and then taking off, it tore his heart into pieces. The melancholy hovered him for weeks to follow, his appetite was gone and heart sick...now there was Witt and Sonny and Lyynn. They each had a piece of his heart and as if each piece had a string it tied him up so much it felt hard to breath...or maybe that was just the dream amplifying his heart. That was why when he woke and looked up and Lyynn she made him develop a crush, Tonto studied her facial features. She was quite pretty sort of like Vixey, with those big expressive ears and eyes...he turned his head to the side.
"Have you had anything to eat?" He stretched. |

| Lyynn loved the way Tonto looked as he slept, he looked young and happy. She chuckled when he kicked and let out soft barks throughout his dreaming, talking of trains and a childhood friend. Lyynn had never met a wolf like Tonto before, he was so...she searched her mind but couldn't find quite the words to describe him. He was just Tonto. When he turned his head it startled her and she jumped ever so slightly, like when you hear noise late at night with nobody around you.
"Have you had anything to eat?"
Lyynn's breath cought and she smiled shyly, "welcome back sleepy head, and I guess I haven't, it hadn't really crossed my mind untill now." She looked everywhere except at Tonto, slightly embarrassed about staring at him for so long. She prayed that he didn't know she had done so. For some reason she felt different around him, she felt as if she could trust him. Her logic screamed at her to not be so foolish, but the rest of her felt calmed and relaxed. She looked up at him for a moment just so she could see those unique glimmering eyes of his, as soon as she made eye contact with him her heart seered with a hot wave of an emotion she'd never felt before. Lyynn quickly looked down to the ground and scratched at the damp earth and lowered her ears to hide her face. "If you're hungry we could go find something, only if you want to...I mean...uhh...you know...you don't have to, I mean I could...or you could...or uhh...you know?" Lyynn's eyes were fixed onto the ground and her foot went further and further into the soil, she could feel her heart beating like a bass drumb in her head. She then realized her paw was now covered in dirt and she pulled it from the ground and shook it ferociously to rid her foot of the soil, but ended up spreading the dirt to her chest. Her heart began to beat faster as she just awkwardly sat there staring at the mess she had made of herself as a smile found its way to her lips. She lifted her head to look at Tonto and with a shur said, "ummm...sorry." then let out a small nervous laugh to fill in for her embarrassment.

| Tonto smacked his lips and eyes gradually opened from a tapered squint, all he could see was her looking down at him. The slumber left him near sighted so the rest of the world seemed to blur around her. He could feel her heart beating like the wings of a butterfly on his side...but it was okay because well his heart's pulse quickened too. He was never this close to female wolf and the partnership magnetized him, but he wasn't sure she'd like him back. I mean after all his presence may just be making her uncomfortable, but hers eyes...the pathway to her heart said otherwise. More like a welcoming expression, that could mean anything though...he knew what he wanted them to say. He wanted them to reflect the loneliness in his heart, that he need someone so desperately to save him from dying at heart. Could she save him? Save his weary heart, patch the pieces together and give it tender care.
Tonto couldn't help but smile at how Lyynn responded and her embarrassed fidgeting. Although he hasn't noticed them and even if he had Tonto was beginning to like every part of her unique personality. But there was something inside a voice that asked him to be true, he felt this way before with Witt. The wolf had just left him when he asked her to follow him, maybe she hadn't liked him like he thought, like he liked her. He rolled over on his belly and stretched out his claws scouring the dirt, Tonto nudged Lyynn gently with his nose.
ummm....sorry.
A giggle escaped his lips at Lyynn when she stumbled over her words..."Come on, lets get something to eat." he gave her a warm smile. |

| Lyynn's face felt as if it were as hot as the sun, her cheeks the mixing pot of hydrogen and helium as they fuse together creating an explosion. She couldn't believe that she wasn't able to talk straight, her mind was reeling as hundreds of thoughts ran through her head all at once, each thought demanding attention. She hoped that Tonto wasn't able to see through her, she dreded the idea of ruining whatever they were so quickly. Which led to another long stream of thoughts flooding her mind. All she knew for certain is that she needed to stay calm, she searched every inch of her mind for any memory of her mother giving any advice for this type of situation. All of this uncontrollable chaos ended in a split second, just as she heard the calming tone of Tonto's voice.
"Come on, lets get something to eat."
And just as she gazed up from her fixed position on the ground, she saw his beautiful smile. Just one simple smile made her insides turn to mush, she felt every bone grow warmer and warmer then turn into liquid. Her legs started to ever so slightly shake, she felt as if she was floating an inch from the ground her mind soaring hugh above the clouds and off into what she didn't know existed. She blinked quickly to try and gain control of her body again, this was not the time to collapse in on herself, not in front of him. She simply smiled and replied in a soft voice, as if speaking any louder would scare everything around her away. "Okay."

| He was a bit worried at how she acted...was it because he made her nervous, well he wanted to change that. Tonto took Lyynn to a meadow not far from here, it was a small opening covered with tall bushes an ideal place for his prey.
He turned back at her and whispered quietly "Follow me." the red wolf crept into the bushes as he had before on Lyynn.
And when they were in the middle he turned around facing her and kicked a rock with his hind leg into the briar, a grouse sprinted away but not fast enough Tonto tackled it and brought his catch to Lyynn his chest puffed out proudly as far as it could go.
He put the flightless bird right at her front legs and gave her a warm smile "Here you go." Tonto nuzzled her gently.
"I've got to catch another one..." Just as the words left his mouth another one shook in fear just beside him.
It was a deadly mistake for if the bird had just kept still a few moments longer he never would've notice him.
With one swipe of his mighty paws Tonto snatched the grouse with cat like reflexes and with the bird in his mouth uttered "Okay, now we need to find some shelter." they were a tad difficult to understand but hopefully she understood them.

| Lyynn carefully followed Tonto, making sure everystep was silent and precise. She was amazed at how stealthily he moved through the bushes, he reminded her of a shadow in the night. Always there but never seen.
As they entered the middle of the clearing she cocked her head to the side as he turned to face her, and chuckled when he kicked a rock with his back leg. There is no way, she thought. Just as soon as her laugh escaped her lips she saw the grouse dash from the bush, and in a heart beat, before she could even register that there was a movement, Tonto was on top of the bird.
She tried to hide her smile as he came walking back with his trophy dangling from his jaw. When his dropped at her feet time seemed to slow as she felt him slowly nuzzle her cheek, and when he pulled away time sped up to normal. The spot where he had been still felt warm with his touch.
"I've got to catch another one..."
Lyynn watched every word make its way from his mouth, and became intranced in his eyes. She didn't even notice the moment of him making another catch, his movements were as fast as lightnig when flashing across the sky. And as he muttered with the grouse clenched in his jaw she tried to make out his muffled words that came out sounding something like, kay, ow e eed oo fnd om shelr. A laugh soared from her throat and she tried to cage it in, but laugh after laugh flew from her lips untill her belly had that certian ach you only get from a good laugh. She took a deep breath and finally stopped laughing just long enough to say, "Sorry, but its just so," another giggle slipped its way out,"it's just so funny." She bit the inside of her cheek to stop the constant flow of laughter. Lyynn replied with "lead the way sensei." Before picking up the grouse and choking back more laughter.

| he reminded her of a shadow in the night. Always there but never seen. Like Ty XD
*clears throat, returns to regular narrative authorship* Tonto laughed "O ouu tink tis funny?" the red wolf chuckled more as he heard his own words sound nothing more than incoherent babble "Fwallow we."
He trotted into the forest and looked back at her, Lyynn's eyes were sparkling in a way that reminded him more and more of Vixey. And her smile was like an upside down rainbow and just as beautiful, he turned back to see where he was going and bumped his head on a tree. He shook his head and blinked a few times until the dizziness went away, now trying to pretend nothing happened although he heard Lyynn laughing he looked at the trees and rocks. There was a place in between the two trees about twenty feet away where a giant oak fell over between them. It was so wide that even if Tonto could wrap himself around it his couldn't even see his tail, it was a perfect spot for shelter since the a large boulder jutted out of the ground behind it. There came rain now and his pace quickened until he got underneath it, turning around he laid on the dirt and watched Lyynn come and sit beside him.

| As Lyynn followed Tonto through the forest she kept her gaze fixed on him, and when he turned to look at her she felt bubbly inside. Then when he bumped into the tree she tried to bite into the grouse to keep herself from falling into another laughing fit, but a high pitched laugh ran from her mouth.
Just as the rain started to fall from the clouds she followed Tonto into the naturally made shelter. When she stepped inside she sat close to him, the rain brought a cold breeze along side it sending a chilling shiver through her bones. She leaned in closer to him welcoming the feel of his fur brushing against hers. She gently placed her grouse on the ground then looked over at him, with her heart racing she quickly liked the side of his face. "Thank you Tonto, this is wonderful."
Lyynn bent down and started to lick the brown dappled feathers of the bird, sending a side glance over at Tonto. As she began to eat her bird she pressed more into his side as the wind and rain began to pick up. The wind started to whistle through the trees sending leaves soaring through the air, the rain began to beat heavily into the earth. A flash of bright light reached across the sky igniting the grey with white for a fraction of time. Lyynn snapped her head up in fright and as the grand rumble of thunder rolled through the sky shaking the ground, she pressed her head into his shoulder. Her body shook viciously as she heard her bones rattling against each other. She coward away from the opening of the den untill there was no more back to go. She let out a soft whine as she awaited the next ambush of sound to tear across the sky.

| His face grew hot and paws stretched open when her tongue touched his cheek, it made Tonto's eyes widen. A goofy smile made its way across his face, one held together by two bright blushes...it made his average concentration disarray like a glass cup shattering on the floor. He felt as if he'd been hit by the express train, his mind sent commands down to his lungs to suck in air but he stood breathless for what seemed like an eternity lasted only a few seconds. And as she leaned into him a feeling...something he had never experienced before filled his body and for once Tonto could feel the blood push through his veins like a powerful river. Now the world turn into a warmer even in the darkness created by the storm clouds...beat, beat, beat. His heart pulsated a tune of romance that he thought she could hear this close, Tonto saw the flash of lightening and at first she remained beside him. It took everything not to just touch her or purr, Lyynn made him want to write poetry...and sing a howl.
The thunder shook the water off the dead tree and splashed a little bit on him, just like that she was gone...deeper in the shelter so he rose up from his position and went over to her. His eyes tapered a bit and sat in front Lyynn, he gave her a nuzzle but this time it was an affectionate expression...one he had never given since Vixey. It sent chills down his spine and from a moment he thought he could hear her thoughts, Tonto felt a slight bumping on his muzzle and recognized it as her heartbeat. The red wolf pushed on her neck into the gently beating artery, he wondered if maybe she felt his too. Then when he finished turned to his side blocking the lightening and thunder comforted her, he needn't say a thing he felt the silence and the nuzzle said enough.
The water dripped down from his muzzle to the ground, the lightening flashed like a strobe light. The young wolf put his paw on hers reassuring Lyynn that nothing would get passed him...not anything could scare her anymore. Now usually he didn't like being so close to someone but this was different, like it was meant to be...it was naturally happening. It pushed aside all his thoughts and now all he could think about was how to protect her.

| Lyynn watched Tonto walk over her eyes wide with fear, but as he drew closer the fear was replaced with a different feeling, one she only felt when he was around. He made her heart beat fast, but not with fear, with something else. Her heart beat as if it were the wings of a humming bird, as the fear drained from her veins they were filled by something unknown. As her mind tried to process this feeling it screamed at her to be weary of this unknown, but the rest of her felt natural, like this was what it was supposed to be feeling.
And as this war raged in her own soul it was brought to a complete stop. As soon as he touched her everything was calm. Just like the eye of a hurricane, everything was madness and confusion but with this one touch it all disappeared and manifest itself into something more. She no longer heard the screaming of her mind, as if this one touch had stunned her whole mind into nothing. She then felt her heart beat to a new rhythm, she noticed as her fast fluttering pace matched his own. He didn't say a word, but he knew that he didn't have to. That this one gesture was enough for this moment, it was more than a thousand words could ever be.
When Tonto placed him paw on hers she concentrated on nothing but him. She let him protect her, and let him block out all of the bad in the world. She looked into his mesmerizing eyes, to let him know that he was the only thing in her world right then in this moment. She hoped and prayed that she was as important to him as he was to her, pleaded with the heavens that this feeling would never end, that it would last for the rest of eternity. She knew that she didn't want anything else in this world but what this unknown was.

| Nothing could describe this...it was impossible to feel so attached and yet detached from this world. As if everything he'd known all the cognitive info became but nonsense...life melted away but emotions congealed. A shock of energy shot through him like the lightening above scattering from cloud to cloud. It was like reaching into another dimension when he touched her...one that sucked him into it like a black hole. He looked back at her a shy look in his eyes and beat red cheeks, they glowed like Christmas lights. Inside Tonto wished that she'd give him a sign that it was okay to touch her like that, with all the love he possessed. Embarrassment had made him stiff like the stone wall behind them, in such a closed compartment she had to sense his nervousness.
The male wolf remained beside her blocking the flashes outside and the rumbling roar of thunder, he shivered a little since the wind coupled with the rain was less than warm. More like an uncomfortable temperature, maybe the storm would stop soon...he looked outside looking somewhat poor due to his flat wet fur, pitiful expression and quivering body.

| Lyynn could sense the tinge of uncertainty floating throughout the thick stormy air, she wanted to erase this from her perfect moment. She just didn't know the exactly the right way to go about it, the last thing she wanted to happen was for him to leave. She wanted him to stay with her forever.
"Are you cold?" She asked in a soothing voice. She inched closer to him resting her head on his legs, pressing her head into his chest. She shifted her body to lay along side his and layed her tail on top of his back, trying to warm him a little. She wished she could just find the words to tell him how much she needed him. She never noticed how alone she felt through this past year untill now, to be honest she never felt anything close to this before.
As the thunder quieted and lulled itself into a distant mumble, while the lightning dulled and found a new sky to travel her heart slowed to a more steady beat. And as the vicious thunder was replaced by the inviting song of a bird, while the sun broke through the clouds in a single brilliant ray chasing the lighting away. The rain turned to a calming drizzle untill fading into a slight mist, the forest seemed to cone back to life in slow motion.
All while this happened Lyynn thought what she would say to him, he had stayed with her and that ment everything to her. Every scenario she played with in her head never seemed to end quite right, nothing ever sounded perfect enough in her mind to say to him. But as she layed there cherishing every millisecond of every moment he was there next to her, she knew she needed to let him know how much she felt for him. She took a deep breath for one last second to think of the perfect words.
"Tonto, I'm, I'm not quite sure what to say, or how to...to say this, but I need to let you know." She paused for a second to reassure herself to keep going. "I don't know what this...this feeling is inside me but I've never felt like this before, and to be honest I'm...I'm terrified of it. But I know that I was ment to know you, I don't know how I know or, or if I'm right. I don't even know if you feel, you know, the same. Witch I don't expect you to, I, I mean why would you? It doesn't make complete sense, and as I'm saying this I sound crazy. I just can't stop, and the craziest part is that I don't want it to ever stop."
She closed her eyes and rubbed his chest with her cheek, hoping, praying that she hadn't just made the biggest mistake of her life.

| As she touched him he became a little stiff mostly from the nervousness inside maybe the uncertainly, the naive of her but Lyynn had this way of relaxing him. He gulped down hard and could feel yet again his face flush but now it wasn't just his face it was wherever she touched. Her balmy warmth took him over and soon the cold was gone, when Lyynn laid sort of on him he laid motionless. His eyes looked at her with a little fear, a little comfort...he knew that somehow she could see into him to the other side. That he was just a regular wolf, a heart aching with loneliness and inflicted with cravings for another. Laying together in the dark only it wasn't so dark anymore, the sun was coming out...his chest went in and out with her on top of it. Tonto's words escaped him, flew out of his mind for no set of sentences or syllables formed in the most beautiful way...could explain her beauty, her complexity. Feeling her breath in and out and having her so close made him feel rich...like nothing was missing.
"It doesn't make complete sense, and as I'm saying this I sound crazy. I just can't stop, and the craziest part is that I don't ever want it to stop."
He heard her words and for a while Tonto said nothing...but then he did something he'd never done before. Leaning in he touched her nose with his, eyes closed and ears folded down to magnify a kiss, one kiss that he would never forget no matter where in the world he went. The sparks flew in his mind as they touched, things were like his eyes were wide open. Tonto could see clearly who was in front of him, an image captured in his mind forever. In trickery he almost thought this was a dream, but it wasn't...she was beautiful, she was here and they kissed. He drained all the emotion he had into the expression, bled all his love out and promise through one kiss.

| After Lyynn poured every thought she was thinking into a few sentences she did not know what to expect to happen next. As the words ran across her mind replaying in her head as she lay there, each word lead to a new branch of thoughts. As each fraction of a moment passed by during this silence she hoped for the very best, but prepared for the absolute worst.
For the first second of there kiss she thought this was all just a fragment of her imagination, she couldn't believe what was happening. She felt herself melt into him and her mind became blank, there were no unanswered questions, no unpredictable outcomes, there was him. And his touch sent tidal waves of emotions she had never even dreamed out, every last inch of her body was flooded with them while everything else was washed away. She felt the world stop turning around her and she heard nothing but the beating of their hearts, this moment belonged to her and Tonto and only them. The one thing that mattered in her world was him, she no longer cared about every past mistake she had made, every promise broken, or any life lost. He was the center of her universe, and nothing else could ever be compared to him. She felt jolts of electricity pulsing through her veins, radiating from the point where he touched her. She wanted nothing more in her life than a lifetime filled with him, a lifetime without him would not be a life at all. Lyynn saw Tonto then, really saw into him for the first time. She saw the lonely that hung and clouded his heart, she hoped she could fight it away and fill his heart with something more. Something that would be there to protect him and keep him safe from any harm.
As the sun shone brighter she felt its warm welcoming rays fill the space around them, but they were something intangible, just out of reach. And when she pulled away from his kiss she looked straight into his eyes, those mirrors of his beautiful soul. She gazed into them and let him know that she was here, that he was hers and she was his. And that he could never do or say anything to change this, that he now possessed a part of her that one one else could have.
