#PRAYFORBOSTONAs you may or may not know, Boston, Massachusetts received a terrorist attack yesterday at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. People nation-wide come to Boston and gather for miles to see and support friends and family running in the race.
At 2:45pm on April 15, 2013, terror struck Boston in the form of two exploding devices that went off one after the other. Blood covered the street, a man with half his leg missing was wheeled against the crowds, and for the first time in 100 plus years, the Boston Maraton was cancelled. Boston was stopped dead in its tracks, reacting instinctively to what had just occurred and making hasty decisions to try and calm the panic and figure out exactly what had just occurred.
Boylston Street was in lock-down and was checked thoroughly for any other explosive devices. Two others were found and disarmed, and now the focus is on the people who planted these explosives. The motive is still unclear, and investigators are still trying to figure out exactly what had happened.
154 wounded, 17 in critical condition, 41 in serious condition, and 3 dead (including an 8 year old child).
We can only hope and pray for the families of those who were injured or dead. Right now, we're more concerned about what could be next.
