More contests

I was looking through the site and saw the contests that you guys already had and I was wondering if we could have more of those. The riddles are fun and I actually knew the first one riddle and I love writing contests. We could maybe have them on a schedual one week is the contest the next week is the votes and the week after that is a new contest.

I think that is a great idea, but it would require work, I think that another thing is you yourself could post those contests in the games sections

yeah, the thing is with the recent contest I think you win mercs, do you know how that works?

i dont think the point system has been figured out yet ussually its like money and you can buy things from the "shop" like clothing for your character

The Mercs are just trial right now. We don't have much of a need for them at the moment, but I'm not sure exactly what to do with them. I would do more contests if I knew some good prizes or rewards, but I can't seem to think of anything. 

If you guys have any ideas, post them! I'll definitely consider any suggestions y'all have(:

We could open a shop that sells clothes, special events, marking and tattoos, minor characters. Lot of rp site have them. But the things have to be expensive considering its so easy to get mercy points.

I think then that would drive some new members away if they thought is was just a big shop, it might be a better idea if we sold things that pertained more to the actual site, like attribute points or the right to do certain things.

This sounds like it would be some great fun! And maybe there could be a small group of members that works on the contest? Like, they can come up the the idea, then one person can write up the contest post and another can host it. And for prizes, maybe give out free custom posty boxes, signatures or avatars? Just a few ideas.

me and beast love contests and would be happy to hold and create the contest system for the site.

You could create that in the games, but you would have to ask an admin to be able to actually create items for characters.

I think this is the start of a Mercy Pack Games Committee (MPGC)! Rouge and Beast, that would be amazing if you two could help me out with coming up with contests and prizes! I'll PM you the details and make a private thread for you two to come up with the contests.

Things can be bought from the workshop such as signatures and other photomanip things and tables and other art stuffs. If anybody has any inclination to arts they are welcome to open up a shop and sell their goodies

When you said contests you hinted at the riddles, but are you planning on doing other things?

Yes there will be different types of contests I just need Kipxin to answer some of my questions and I can get started on them

The shop idea will take a while to develop, but there is already a place where you can give away/spend mercs and it would be relitively easy to post in the games section a riddles, or writing, etc. games with mercs give away and then by the time they really get off on their feet you could start a shop, kole is already doing avatars and siggies for mercs, kipxin does the boxes for free but if you asked her you might be able to add that to the shop too, and I'm sure we have plenty of people on the site with other ideas.

Thank you, are you going to start a separate thread for every contest or are all the contests going to be on the same page. It might be easier for it all to be on the same thread so that you don't have to go looking for the new one, but it might be better not to clog up the same one.
